The Job

As a member of the Fire Protection Services you will be responsible for the administration and enforcement of Treasury Board policy and standards on fire protection for Federal Government departments and engineering services for First Nations.
Some of the key activities include:

• Evaluations and reviews of construction documents from a fire protection viewpoint (design and shop drawings prepared by various disciplines),
• Project inspections and acceptance tests of new constructions and fire protection systems,
• Provides technical advice and training,
• Evaluates national policies, codes and standards
